プライベートジェット

今日もメチャ長い一日でした・・・。朝６時半に起きて８時にホテルを出発。９時に予選がスタートして、予選はいまいちで２１位。しか〜し、決勝はドライバーが最後まで諦めず頑張ってくれました！あとちょっとでトップ１０と言う所でしたが１１位でゴール。自分もコーチングに熱くなって無線機でずっと“プッシュプッシュ！”と言いまくってドライバーを盛り上げちゃいました。最後まで諦めずに全力で走ってくれたので、見てて気持ち良いレースでした！

Today was another long day for me at the track. I was up at 6:30am and we checked out from the hotel at 8am to head to the track. The qualifying was underway at 9am and my driver qualified 21st. We were not able to maximize the new tires as well as the cool condition to improve on the time...but we were still able to do our fastest lap of the week end. However, He did excellent in the race and worked him self up to 11th. He kept charging until the end and I was really proud of him pushing all the way till the checkered flag!

レースが終わり３０分後にサーキットを出て、Mont-Tremblantの飛行場に到着。セキュリティーもなく飛行場に到着して５分後に離陸。ドライバーのお母さんをペンシルバニアに降ろしてからミルウォーキーに向けて出発。しかし、プライベートジェットを持ってる人の感覚は違いますね〜・・・。僕らが“駅前まで送って行くよ”って感覚で飛行機を飛ばしてますからね。

Well...30min after the race, we were out of the track and headed to Mont-Tremblant Airport to catch our flight. On the return flight, we had to drop my driver's mom in Harrisuburg, Pennsylvania and I had a fairly tight transit time driving from Racine,WI to the Milwaukee Airport.

さて、ペンシルバニアを出発しようと思ったらハプニングが発生！飛行場の回りが悪天候で急にグラウンドストップ。自分はミルウォーキーから８時のフライトに乗らなくてはいけなかったので、どうするかと大パニック！？！しかも、プライベートジェットはミルウォーキー郊外にある、自宅の側の飛行場に着陸予定で、そこから３０分かかるではないか・・・。すると、“ミルウォーキーの飛行場まで行って降ろしてあげるよ！”と、やっぱり億万長者がする事は違いますね！？！ちなみに、僕がコーチするドライバーはミルォーキーから自宅までも飛行機を飛ばして帰りました。距離にすると東京から横浜くらいかな・・・！？！（笑）

We got to Pennsylvania in 1hr and we were ready to head back up to Wisconsin when the storm started to head to our way and there was a ground stop from the control tower which stopped our plane from departing. I was really nervous since it definitely looked like I was going to miss my flight back to LAX. However, my driver was kind enough to divert the plane to Milwaukee Airport and had a car ready for me at the airport to take me to the terminal. My flight back to LA was at 8:30PM and I landed in Milwaukee at 8:05PM. I zipped through the security and I was already boarded on to the aircraft by 8:18PM. I made it safely on to my flight but I am back to real life from flying a luxurious private jet to going through security and sitting in coach class paying $5 for a beer.By the way, my driver obviously flew back to Racine,WI from Milwaukee which is a 15miles flight.....
