日本の滞在はかなりドタバタで、気がついたらもう月曜で帰国です。滞在中には色々とお世話になっている方にあったり、スポンサー活動等で大忙しでしたが、今回の滞在はかなりプラスです！

It has been a real hectic week...having said that, it was a great stay since I was able to meet with various sponsors and prospects.

昨晩は紅月で、夕食。相変わらず美味しかったです！西麻布から骨董通りに移転しまして、雰囲気もめちゃめちゃいいですよ〜。昨日は久しぶりにUFCで戦う秋山選手にお会いして、色々とUFCの話を聞く事ができました。格闘選手は本当に大変ですね・・・。色んな意味で良い刺激になりました。

I went to dinner last night with a UFC fighter at Kougetsu. The food was great as usual and their new location is fantastic! There were a lot of celebs at the restaurant! After talking to the UFC fighter...I am so glad that I don't have to kick and punch other people for living...!?!

今日は、明日のレース（？）に備えてユックリしています。実は明日はモテギで行われるidlers主催の１２時間耐久レースに出場するのです！インディーに向けてのトレーニングですね。（笑）久しぶりのレースなので、楽しみです！！

Well, today was a quite day for me so I spent majority of the day relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow's race. Yes, I am racing tomorrow at Motegi in my buddy's car. It's going to be a 12hr endurance race and should be a lot of fun. Plus it should be good for my training!?!

１２時間耐久と言う事で、今日は疲労回復するためにエアープレス上野い行って、酸素カプセルに入り、ばっちりリラックス。O2 Styleも沢山もらって、レース中はばっちり酸素補強ができそうです！！酸素があると、集中力が増すので今では必需品です。まだ、試された事がない方はぜひ試してみて下さい！！

Since I needed to recover from a busy week, I went to Air Press Ueno and recharged my self with a lot of oxygen. I also stocked my self up with 12hr worth of O2 Style to keep me oxygenated during the race.Believe it or not, oxygen keeps your concentration level high during the race and it's a must for me to drink during the race as well as when I'm training.

では、残り少ない滞在をエンジョイさせて頂きます。

Well...I guess I'm going to enjoy my week end and back to work on Monday!

JAPAN

昨日のフライトで、日本に戻ってきました。日本はやっぱり蒸し暑いですね・・・。さっき家の近所の隅田川テラスを走ってきました。汗がビチャビチャです・・・。（泣）

I am back in Japan now. Yep...it is hot and humid here. Just went for a 10km run and I sweated like crazy...Hope it doesn't get any hotter than this during my stay.

昨晩は従兄弟とおじさん、そして親戚のキックボクシングのチャンピオンの石川直生君と一緒にご飯に行ってきました。やっぱ色々と格闘家の話を聞くと刺激がありますね〜！自分も頑張らないと！では、今からメディアインタビューで６時間缶詰です・・・。楽しみ！？！（笑）

Last night I went to dinner with my uncle and cousins, as well as one of my relative who is the Kick Boxing Champ in Japan. His name is Naoki Ishikawa and it really amazes me every time I talk to martial artists. He is a heck of a fighter and has a match coming up next month. Well...I am off to a 6hr media interviews...oh yeah I am looking forward to that!!

優弥選手がトップ４入り！

昨日のK-1 World Maxの試合で、知人の山本優弥選手が勝ち、トーナメントトップ４入りが決定しました！優弥おめでとう！！今朝スタバで原稿を書いていたら従兄弟から報告があり、早速デンワで祝福させていただきました。しかし、日本人唯一のトップ８入りで、準決勝までいくのは本当に凄い！皆さん、準決勝と決勝トーナメントではぜひ応援しましょう！

I want to congratulate my buddy Yuya Yamamoto who won the fight last night to be in top 4 for the K-1 World Max Finals. My cousin called me while I was working this morning and told me the news while they were celebrating. I was able to chat with him for couple of minutes and congratulated him for his success. He is the only Japanese in the Top4 and all of Japan would be watching him during the final fight.

彼は本当に人柄が良くて、ビックリします！でも、努力が彼の強さなのだと改めて実感しました。自分もモテギに向けて全力で頑張らないと！！良い刺激になりました！！早速さっきジムでがっつりトレーニングしてきました。

Yuya is such a kind person that you will never think he will kick your butt. But he does spend a lot of time training and that's something I really admire. It certainly made me think twice about my training routine and I was quickly back in the gym getting more work out for the day!!

日本はもう真夏日和みたいですね。来週から日本に戻る予定なので、じめじめしてるのは嫌だな〜・・・。ロスの家ではほとんど蚊がでないのに、昨晩はなぜか部屋に出没。寝ようとしているのに、耳障りの“ビッ〜〜〜〜〜〜〜”っと言う音にイライラしてぜんぜん寝れませんでした。

I am planning for a trip back to Japan next week and I heard it is stinking hot out there. I am not really looking forward to that although it would be a business trip for me...an I certainly have a lot of work to get done. Speaking of hot...there was a mosquito in my bed room last night and it was really annoying!! I spent 20min trying to kill that sucker....

さてさて、今日はGMが再生復帰したニュースがありましたね。破産申請からあっと言う間の復帰。もともと、GMもゼネラル・モータースと言うよりガヴァメント・モータースの略だと言われる程に国家企業になっているだけに、今後のうごきが楽しみです。良いクルマをぜひ作って欲しいですね。これで、いよいよアメリカの景気回復の兆しも見えて来た所かな・・・！？！

Well, it's good to hear that GM is back on there feet. Although GM still probably stands as Government Motors... It must be a sign of the economy to pick up in the near future. They certainly need to make a car that sells...but their ability to make an unique car can't be copied by the Japanese Auto Manufactures.

ヒデキとトレーニング。

皆さんお久しぶりです。週末はフェラーリチャレンジのレースに行って、連日朝６時起きで９時までサーキットにいたので、ブログをアップする事はできませんでした。今はロスに戻ってようやく落ち着いた所です。

月曜から後輩のヒデキが家に来ているので、一緒にトレーニングをしました！ヒデキはアイオワでは３位、リッチモンドでは４位とかなりノリノリなレースが続いています！今週末のレースに向けて、リラックス＆猛トレーニングでレース後半戦に向けてパワーを蓄えています。プラス普段は独身で食べれない、家庭料理を家の妻に作ってもらい、がっつり食べてくれるヒデキの姿を見て、妻も大喜び！次は表彰台の頂点を目指してもらえる様に皆で応援しましょう！

My buddy Hideki is in town from Monday and we've been training together for the last two days. He finished 3rd at Iowa and 4th at Richmond so he is really in a good groove. I think he was able to relax and have some good home made food from my wife so I'm sure he will go to Watkins Glen this week end in much better shape!!

昨日はヒデキとUS Racingラジオで対談インタビュー。なかなか面白い内容なので、ぜひ聴いてみて下さい！

I did a quick radio interview with Hideki yesterday and it was kind of weird interviewing him as driver/interviewer stand point....

気がついたら７月ですね。モテギの準備も急ピッチに進めないと！
