メリークリスマス！

今日はクリスマスイブですね。皆さんメリークリスマス！日本は休日ではないので、ほとんどの人は仕事納めをしている頃かな・・・。

Merry Christmas! Hope you all are having a great holiday season. I assume people in Japan are still working since it's not an national holiday out there...

こちらはすっかり冬休みモードに入っています。まだ、クリスマスプレゼントを買っていないので、今朝ダッシュで買いに行かないとな・・・。子供にばれないようにタイミングを見計らって買うのは難しいですね〜。（笑）

In US, everyone is already in holiday spirit and I haven't even started my Christmas shopping. I better hit the store early this morning...It's so hard to get the presents for the kids without getting caught on what you intend to buy.

ではでは、これから急いでショッピング行ってきます。混んでないといいけど・・・。

Well...I hope people have already finished there Christmas shopping and the store is not so crowded...

娘の誕生日です。

今日は娘の１歳の誕生日。ちょうど１年前に産まれたんだ〜って考えるとなんだかビックリだな。ちなみに、息子を連れて自宅待機していたので、娘の出産の立ち会いにはあと１歩間に合わずと言う状況でした。

Today's my daughter's 1st B-Day. I can't believe she is already one years old. That means, I am not even going to think about what can happen in 20years... When she was born, since it was during middle of the night, I was at home with my son waiting for the phone call, but unfortunately we missed the delivery since she came out so fast.

そんな娘はしっかりでかくなり、今は一生懸命お兄ちゃんと張り合っています。神経の図太さからしたら、もしかしたらレーサー向き？！？（笑）今日は親父が日本から来ているので、家族でお祝い誕生会です！

She is real healthy and big for her age! Therefore, she is almost as strong as her big brother...she probably fits more in to the racing driver category from the characteristics stand point.lol Well, my dad is in town for her B-Day party today and will be celebrating her important day!!

もう金曜？！？

１週間はあっと言う間ですね。今週はやる事が沢山あって、本当にあっと言うまでした。が、今週中にと思っていた事が半分くらいしか達成できなくて、なんだかイライラ。まっ、一番重要な事はできたのでよしとするかな？！？（笑）

This week went by so fast. Can't believe it's already Fri. I had a lot of stuff to get done with this week and may be the time goes by faster when you are busy. I got half of what I needed to get accomplished but still have things to finish up. Having said that, I got the important things out of the way so am a bit relieved.

今日はこれから息子が幼稚園。今日は終業式で明日から冬休みに入ります。幼稚園が無いと、色々と外に遊びに連れて行かないとストレスが溜まるみたいなので、休みの間は大変だ〜・・・。

Today is my son's last day at pre-school for this year. It's tough during the holidays since you have to take your kids to places otherwise they get crazy if they stay home all day. Having said that, I hate crowded places and I'll turn crazy during the holiday season...

日曜は娘の１歳の誕生日です。クリスマスと日程が近いと親としては辛いですね・・・。（泣）盛大なパーティーをする予定はありませんが、沢山の幸せを届けてくれた事を、神様と娘に感謝して、祝ってあげる日ですね！！

This Sunday is my daughter's 1yr old B-Day. No big plans for a party but would like to celebrate her B-Day and thank her and god for giving us all the happiness!

もうちょいでクリスマス。

今日は月曜日。今週も張り切っていきましょ〜。今年もあと残りわずかですし・・・。アメリカは来週に入ったらクリスマスウィークなので、今週が勝負ですね。

I can't believe it's already Monday. The week end went by so fast! It's not raining anymore here in LA so at least a bright start to the week. I guess this will be the final week at work since it is going to be Christmas next week. I better pick up my pace and get all the work done this week.

しかし、週末もあっと言う間だったな〜。土曜は友人の誕生パーティーに行って，皆でわいわいガヤガヤ鍋をつっついて楽しみました。皆で食事すると美味しいですね〜！

On Saturday, I went to my B-Day party and celebrated with bunch of friends eating Shabu-Shabu Hot Pot. It's always fun to have dinner with friends and talk about silly stuff!lol

んで、今日は午前中に息子が幼稚園でクリスマス会です。去年に比べるとどのくらい成長したか楽しみです。

Well, this morning, I'm taking my son to preschool. They will have a Christmas Party at preschool today and should be fun!

ロスに戻ってきました。

無事にロスに帰宅しました。日本も寒かったけど、ロスも寒いです。雨もふっていて、ロスっぽくない天気です。

Made it back to LA safely. It was quite cold in Japan but it is just as bad here in LA and to make things worse...it is raining. This is so unLA....

前回は子供と一緒に帰国したので、時差ボケにそうとうやられましたが、今回は時差ボケはほとんどなさそうです。

I traveled back with my kids during previous trip to Japan,and the jet-lag was really bad but this time, since I was alone, the time adjustment was piece a cake.

が、今朝は４時半に起きてしまいました。ゴロゴロ寝ていても仕方がないので、起きて仕事をすませて早速これからジムに行ってきます。日本滞在中は色々と美味しい物を食べて呑んでしまったので、そのぶんのカロリーも燃焼しないと・・・。（泣）

Having said that, this morning, I woke up at 4:30am and since I had a lot of work to get done, rather than staying in bed...I jumped out and got some work done, and it is time to hit the gym. I ate so much great food and had good drinks that will need to burn off all the calories before Christmas!!

今日ロスに戻ります。

日本での１週間の滞在も超あっと言うまでした。週の始まりは家での仕事が多かったのですが、ここ２〜３日は挨拶回りで大忙しでした。短い期間に色々と良いお話ができて、なんとか無事に年は越せそうです。（笑）

1 week stay in Japan went by so fast. My week started off some what mellow but it really got busy this last couple of days meeting with people. Had good meetings and things are looking bright for next season. At least I hope...

ロスに戻ったら友人の誕生日、そして２０日は娘の誕生日。もう１歳だから驚いちゃますよね。そんで、もってクリスマス・・・。懐が寒くなる時期ですね。頑張らんと！

Once I return to LA, there is my buddy's B-Day party, than my daughter's 1year B-Day. Can't believe she is already one year old. Time just flies. Than Christmas...it's that time of the year when your wallet gets emptied.

寒いですね〜。

日本は寒いですね〜。でも、ロスも寒いみたいです。いったい地球温暖化はどうなっちゃってるのかな・・・？エコ対策が効いてるのかな・・・？？とにかく寒いのは苦手です。皆さんも風邪を引かない様に気をつけてくださいね。

It is way too cold here in Japan for me. Coming from LA, it feels like there was never an Autumn. Having said that, apparently it is also cold in LA. Whatever happened to the global warming?? Or are all the ECO strategy working out so far...?? Nevertheless, I hate being cold....

今夜は久しぶりに紅月に行きます。めちゃめちゃ楽しみだな〜。しかし、ロスに戻ったらがっつりトレーニングしないと、やばいかも。寒いと身体が動かないから嫌ですね〜。

I going to Kougetsu for dinner tonight. I am really looking forward to the meal, especially because it's cold today. However, I'm need to train real hard when I get back to LA to get back in racing shape.

日本にいるよ〜

先週はスーパー忙しかったです。LAオートショーが開幕して、プレスデー初日に現場に行き取材。締め切りの都合で、その日のうちに原稿の入稿があり、大忙し。ほぼ徹夜状態で違う仕事をこなし、飛行機の飛び乗り今は日本です。

It was a real busy week for me this past week. Went to the LA Auto Show Press Day and had to write an article that night to make the deadline for this Japanese Magazine. Than had more work to do that night before catching my flight back to Japan.

久しぶりの長旅で、エコノミーの席でもグッスリ寝ちゃいました。映画も観てフライとを満喫。

I was so tired, the 12hr flight felt so quick even in a economy seat. I was able to watch a movie and chilled.

土曜はモテギに行ってidler'sの３時間耐久レースに出場。実は夏に１２時間耐久に出た時は優勝してしまい、今回も出場し優勝狙ってました。“子供の喧嘩に大人がきてる・・・”と回りにいわれておりますが、久しぶりのサーキット走行をエンジョイ。

Yesterday, I was at Motegi again racing in this 3hr endurance race. I actually raced with same guys during the summer for the 12hr race which we ended up winning. Since it's more of a friendly race, I'm just out there having fun but some serious racers probably thought it wasn't fair for me to be out there...lol

レースは燃料ポンプのトラブルで、一時ストップ。なんとか修復して完走はしましたが、とりあえず久しぶりの走行で楽しめませた。それよりも、年明けに耐久レースに出場する可能性があるので、トレーニングになりました！（笑）

Nevertheless, we had a fuel pump issue during the race and was able to barely finish at the end. I have some plan on running a big endurance race at end of Jan, so it was a good training session after all. Any day on track is a good day!!

今回の日本滞在は金曜までです。短い滞在ですが、お仕事ミッチリ頑張らんと！！

Well, I'm only here till Friday so better get a lot of work done!!
